Shendig BBQ Competition sponsored by the Forum to Revitalize Shenandoah, Vetter Equipment, Lynn Furnace Heating and Cooling, Swift, and KCBS will take place at the Elks Lodge July 18th and July 19th. Gates open Friday at 5:00pm. Admission is $10.  Tasters choice will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Gas n' Grass will play from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, Team Introductions will be at 7:00pm, and the Jason Mayer Band will play from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Saturday the gates will open at 9:30am and admission will be $5.  The Welcome Hunters will play from 10:00am to 2:00pm.  The River's Edge Bags Tournament will begin at 10:00am.  KCBS winners wll be announced at 3:30pm to finish off the day.
