SCIA professionals team with city of Shenandoah to implement progressive strategic plans, Tax Increment Financing projects and city business loan proposals. Earl May Garden & Nursery Co. and Brown's Shoe Fit Co. founded in Shenandoah still have corporate headquarters here along with flagship stores. Western Iowa media powerhouse KMA Radio was also founded in 1925 in Shenandoah and still operates under local ownership.
