SMC Gardening Class for Kids

Gardening Class for Kids will be held Wednesdays from June 17 through July 22 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Shenandoah Medical Center. Open to children in preschool through 4th grade, the six-week series includes gardening activities, crafts, scavenger hunts, fairy gardens, pollinator education, and garden-fresh snacks. New Beginnings Vacation Bible School

New Beginnings Church

New Beginnings Church is inviting area children to kick off summer with Beach Break, two special evenings of games, worship, snacks, and fun on June 3 and June 10 at 6:45 PM. Open to children in preschool through 6th grade, Beach Break serves as a fun lead-up to the church's Surf's Up VBS program. Weekly VBS sessions will begin in mid-June and continue throughout the summer on Wednesday evenings. Families are encouraged to view the flyer for registration information and learn more about this exciting summer opportunity for kids.

Snowball Mountain Challenge Vacation Bible School will be held July 6th through 10th from 5:30-8:30 pm at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, 1212 Peppertree Drive in Shenandoah. Open to children who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade. Activities include Bible lessons, crafts, music, games, and snacks. Registration information is available on the event flyer.

The Day the Crayons Quit summer theater camp for kids

The Wilson Arts Center will host The Day the Crayons Quit Summer Theatre Camp for children ages 6 to 12, July 6th through 10th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Campers will help write the script, design costumes and props, and perform an original production inspired by the popular children's book. A public performance will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, July 10th. The cost is $175. The Wilson Arts Center is located at 300 Commerce Drive in Red Oak.
